The Role : Commercial Manager The Team: The Commercial Manager (CM) is responsible for the achievement of an account's revenue and retention performance goals – and coordinating the associated strategies that align the broader account team towards the achievement of those goals. The Impact: With comprehensive knowledge of the S&P Global Commodity Insights offering and a detailed understanding of the client’s strategic growth objectives, initiatives and risks, the CM uses consultative selling to optimize the fit-for-purpose solution and customer experience, thereby maximizing account value. The CM is responsible for confirming the client’s budget approval and decision-making processes, negotiating the contractual terms and pricing, and utilizing information from the broader account team to structure a value-added long-term commercial agreement.
