Your Profile :
You will be the team leader of approximately 10 people who are regulatory experts, financial crime experts and/ or our specialists in driving change in systems. The team is at the forefront in defining how we work with preventing financial crime in the systems as well as in the manual processing.
The team has the following responsibilities:
Owners of the global KYC procedures as well as the financial crime risk model in the bank (and how those are imbedded in our systems).
Review and maintain policy and procedures, and ensure implementation end-to-end.
Developing and overseeing the financial crime framework under your leadership and to drive projects initiated in onboarding and ongoing due diligence.
To act as contact point for FSA, Internal Audit and Compliance, and to manage closure of any findings by them.
Approve changes to our digital KYC flows
To interact and intervene with any part of Saxo to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, proper business procedures and client focus
To advice on enhanced due diligence on the highest risk clients and ensure the quality is kept or raised
Drive automation and digitalisation
To be successful in the role you can tick some (or maybe all, if we are lucky) of the below:
You are an experienced leader with a proven track record of driving successful complex operating models and financial crime strategy within a regulated space.
You are great at empowering and delegating, and you have an ability to influence people around you and to nurture a dedicated and high-performance team - and also help them prioritise when time does not suffice.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, leading you to communicate clearly but also helping your team transform their detailed expertise into easily understood concepts and solutions by stakeholders (from IT, to KYC Analysts or senior management).
You are passionate about doing things differently, and not limited by the way things has always been done.
You keep an overview and understanding of ongoing projects and initiatives impacting the team and ensure the proper distribution and prioritization within the team in line with the overall strategy
Preferably you have previous financial crime management experience within the regulatory framework side and/ or compliance.
You can juggle many things at the same time, without losing too many items along the way.
