About the Job:

Responsibility:
•Communicate effectively and work closely with others, i.e. Project Managers, Developers and other testers from the same or across teams and Business owners, etc., when issues/questions arise
•Demonstrates an understanding of the detailed-level functionality and testability of their team's systems
•To constantly assess and analyse the current software development life cycle (SDLC) and subsequently suggest/embed (incremental) improvements to the SDLC
•Work actively with functional delivery by reviewing test scenarios and drive UAT
•To assure that the changes we release to our production environment with the usability and functionality is aligned with Business and clients’ expectations
•To execute on the QA vision of the Dept and strategy within the team, to ensure buy-in and adoption
•Participating in grooming, planning and retrospective sessions, doubling down on quality and promoting a strong QA presence in said meetings
•Contribute to the team reaching the set milestones and deliveries by being mindful of the quality assuring activities required
•Responsible for ensuring that regression suite is updated and handover given to RTE team, for the work being done on the team
•Continuously learn more about the product, platform and domain
•Work with business team to understand business requirements and functional process. Act as quality gate for requirements, user stories and business process
•Follow up on issues/tasks, handle multiple tasks and cross teams’ tasks effectively and make sure all tested features are delivered with high quality
•Ensure that the work being tested is trackable and test status is up to date
•Mentor junior and team members with an objective of increasing the number of Subject Matter Experts within the team
•Able to diagnose live incidents and help them fix asap
Mandate:
•Go-No-Go recommendation from Quality assurance for project deliveries
•To adapt software development processes around QA when beneficial to team
