About the Job:



Saxo Bank is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer who wants to help us ensure that the Bank complies with all relevant legislation, internal rules and relevant market practices. Furthermore ensuring that our products and services are delivered with high quality.

Your main tasks will be:
• Identifying, assessing, advising, monitoring and reporting on the Bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements including enabling appropriate supervisory procedures.

• Ongoing monitoring and assessment of the Bank’s initiatives, policies and procedures to ensure these are efficient and effective, including any initiatives taken to mitigate any deficiencies in the Bank’s compliance with regulations.

• Advising and supporting the management and the business units in complying with relevant regulation and procedures.

You will become part of a very dynamic Compliance Team under the Group Compliance function where there is always a good atmosphere and the possibility to spar with experienced colleagues. The team consists of 5 employees - the Group compliance function consists of 13 employees.



Your Profile :



We assume you have a BSc/Master in Law or Finance or a background as an Auditor. Furthermore we are looking for a candidate with at least some years experience working with financial regulations in a compliance/risk function or working with an FSA. We would prefer candidates with knowledge of prudential risks or Information Security risk, but this is not a requirement if you are willing to explore new areas within the compliance field. You have an open and positive attitude when advising and liaising with the business and finally you must be able to convey your messages in a simple and efficient way.
