About the Job:

 

 

Responsibility:
•Perform accounting registrations with ‘zero mistakes attitude’
•Ensure that external auditors, Tax and other statutory authorities will not make material re-assessments to balances prepared by the SSC team
•Ensure timely closing of books of accounts for all legal entities
•Ensure accurate processing of invoices and expenses in a timely manner
•Ensure that any reporting made is highly qualitative
•Ensure Flexibility for delivering resources re specials tasks
•Support and maintain close communication with local finance teams across geographies for smooth functioning of finance functions.
•Consistently work towards improving and/or automating procedures and processes'
Mandate:
•Full mandate for the areas outlined in responsibility

Group Finance is responsible for the following corporate functions in the value chain within the bank: Finance,  Legal, Procurement and Treasury.

Some of the key responsibilities for the division include:
•    Controlling cost and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin
•    Managing capital cost and regulation efficiently to generate an improved return on Equity
•    Supporting mergers and Acquisitions for the Group
•    Supervising and overseeing the review, negotiation and drafting of major contracts, tender documents and other legal documents, as required by the operational departments
•    Organizing and managing liquidity globally
