Are you enthusiastic about working with data, contributing to automating processes and do you want to be part of Saxo Bank’s data driven journey to reshape the financial services industry? We are looking for a developer for our Client Analytics & Research deliveries team within Data Science & Commercial Analytics department.

A key part of Saxo Bank’s success has been our ability to use all the data we have available to deliver best in class product and services. We are looking for a person to help scaling up automatization of processes such as communication flows, satisfaction surveys  and client alerts through our inhouse rule based flow creator. In this position you will cover a key role in the further development of the user interface of our inhouse rule based flow creator in close collaboration with business stakeholders. Your work will be fundamental in supporting the organization in moving towards more and more automated and intelligent processes.

You might be a developer who enjoys working closely with commercial stakeholder or an analyst with developer skills. We are looking for someone who is eager to make the difference, passionate about bringing data to life and embraces new technologies. You are are confident in working with React, Node.js, Python, SQL. Moreover, you are a team player and enjoy working in a multicultural environment that offers equal employment opportunity.

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain automated flows with a focus on front end development
  • Writing, testing and maintaining implementations
  • Extensive collaboration with other developers and business stakeholders
  • Support stakeholders in setting up A/B tests and analyze the results of automated flows
  • Being part of the core team responsible for developing and maintaining our flow creator.


The team

As Data Analyst in Client Analytics & Research deliveries you will be part of the Modelling and Digital Analytics team w. a size of 10-15 people. The team is part of the Data Science department spanning a diverse set of backgrounds and skills. As part of the role you will be working closely with IT, Global Sales, Client Service, Digital Engagement and the other members of Data Science. 

The focus of the team is among other things to use modern statistical/machine learning tools, big data, and customer surveys to gain insight in our customer base and to optimize the way we work with our clients throughout the value chain. This includes a data-driven approach to optimizing engagement and in general supporting decisions related to all our client touchpoints in order to maximize client happiness and lifetime value.


Your profile

As a person you come across as dedicated, technical curious and goal oriented.

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Development experience in React, Python and SQL
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate proactively with stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset and attention to details
  • Understanding of DevOps CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of Airflow, Kafka, Docker and Node.js is a plus
  • Front end development experience is a plus
  • English, verbal and written.
