Our Global Platform Configuration Team is multicultural and currently based in Copenhagen & Singapore. Our main objective is the Platform Configuration and IT Integration of new Institutional clients, plus the support and maintenance these elements with existing institutional clients. We manage the entire process and actively configure the trading platform, including feature deployment & branding elements. We lead and configure technical integration efforts (APIs & FTP connections) and project manage other operational areas to deliver a holistic onboarding experience to the partner. We will also extend the project into a hyper care period ensuring that new partners needs are meet during this challenging phase and where appropriate transition to become the service delivery manager for the client, continuing to answer general queries regarding aspects of the engagement controlled by this team.
We are looking for an individual who will focus on the technical integration aspects on the onboarding process, working closely with the partner to build API connections. Our new team member will also heavily engage in the migration of our partners from SOAP to REST based APIs. In addition, we are constantly growing our integration points and you will participate in review, test, and deployment of new services, and manage ongoing maintenance. It is expected that you become the conduit between technical teams at the partner and Saxo, translating & mapping their business requirements into our technical solutions and then implementing them.
The role could suit a seasoned professional who is already actively supporting clients either in the onboarding or maintenance phase. Equally we are ready to consider applicants who have recently graduated or will graduate this year, who may have less experience but would have the opportunity to grow into the role. The right candidate would, however, have a solid working knowledge of API technology and some practical experience implementing and troubleshooting.
Saxo Banks Platform Configuration Team is first class and to succeed with us you will need to be resourceful, adaptable, analytical, and well organized. You will need to be able a build a rapport with our internal sales & relationship Managers and with our clients directly.
Amongst others you will be responsible for:
Facilitate the transition of the client from pre-sales to onboarding, working with pre-sales team to confirm the boundaries of the engagement.
Project manage the technical onboarding, representing not only our own platform branding elements but representing Operations Business Unit
Manage new client technical IT integrations, this could be via API connections (REST and SOAP) or FTP protocols
Transition from onboarding to hyper care, managing the handover process to other operations teams who will future service the client.
Participating in any other task and effort that would be of benefit to our Institutional clients or local Saxo Group subsidiaries which could include document writing, development workshops/coordination, client visits, seminars, or training.
We are looking for a well-rounded candidate who will have had IT experience in an industry where API integrations were at the forefront of the role. The applicant should desire a client facing position and have a service based mindset. You must be able to interpret our partners needs and suggest the most appropriate solutions from our technology stack, a conduit between the business and IT teams. Although project management experience is valuable, providing you can demonstrate very strong organizational skills, an ability to multitask and a desire to succeed you could be our candidate
Enthusiastic and driven individual you can demonstrate ownership and understand service culture for both internal and external clients.
Must be a self-starter with the drive to form creative solutions and in equal measure be able to interrogate errors and perform in depth trouble shooting.
Experience in running IT projects and project delivery in the financial sector or a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar position where strong organizational skills were used.
Knowledge or strong interest in investment banking especially in relation to capital markets and financial products (FX, CFDs, equities etc)
Knowledge and experience in the FinTech world and the use of API (SOAP, REST) technologies including analyzing and understanding server logs.
Acumen for analytical ability and reasoning skill
Proven communication skills in English both written and spoken and enjoys client contact.
Ability to follow clear guidelines and multi‐task to make independent decisions.
Have the ability to prioritize the workload to fit the business objectives.
Is a team player who can work independently and act when required?
Experience in working with C#, PHP and Java will be an advantage.
