About the role

Our company is rapidly expanding and evolving. We have an incredible opportunity for two new team. members to join our growing Finance team.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare daily reconciliations, including related journals
  • Daily treasury and prime broker facility management

  • Administration of the banking platforms

  • Responsibility for client deposits and withdrawals

  • Responsibility for accounts payable functions

  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting

  • Assist with FBT, GST, Income Tax and Payroll Tax Requirements

  • Assist with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements and related audit activity

  • Assist with JSOX testing and reporting

  • Involvement in budget and forecast process for management

  • Continuous process improvements, including related project management activities

  • Ensure compliance with financial legislation and standards

  • Contribute to agile squad meetings and deliver ad hoc projects

  • Represent the Company at various community activities as required


About you

  • CA/CPA qualification is essential.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting/financial services firm

  • Financial services experience is essential

  • Big 4 working experience preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential

  • SQL experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards

  • Solid knowledge of general ledger systems and processes. Net Suite experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Australian corporate tax compliance.
