We are currently looking for a full-time Compliance Officer who will join our Group’s Compliance team in Limassol, Cyprus.
The Compliance Officer shall be supporting the compliance efforts of the Group and reporting directly to the Senior Compliance Officer.
Draft and revise policies and procedures and prepare reports;
Audit existing processes, identify weaknesses and suggest corrective actions;
Evaluate new business ideas, assess risks and give opinions;
Review regulatory requirements, assess the impact on operations and update monitoring program;
Ensure ongoing compliance and collaborate with relevant parties to meet reporting obligations;
Maintain up to date compliance records (e.g. documents, logs, correspondence, reports, etc.);
Investigate new licensing opportunities and assist in the preparation of new applications;
Keep abreast of internal procedures and global CFDs and RegTech regulatory developments;
Address employees questions and advice on compliance matters;
Monitor communications with customers and review marketing material;
Review, investigate and assist with the resolution of client complaints;
Perform any other assigned compliance-related tasks, including admin duties;
3+ years experience within the CFDs/Forex industry working in a similar role - ideally in general compliance and not AML;
Relevant professional certification is a plus (CySEC certifications, CISI or related);
Excellent communication (verbal and non-verbal), business acumen, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills;
Fluent in English language (verbal & written), any additional language may be considered a plus;
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details;
