As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be charged with ensuring our software meets very strict functionality and performance requirements. You must have an eye for detail, the ability to plan and work independently, as well as a passion for breaking things.

 

 

Job Purpose:

Our engineers are responsible for the Quality Assurance of oneZero Financial software products and features.

 

 

Duties:

  • Verification of delivered software, features and functionality
  • Writing thorough manual test cases
  • Executing test cases on frontend and backend application layers
  • Maintaining and building out regression tests
  • Logging detailed and accurate defect reports and tracking defects to resolution
  • Building close relationships with developers and other members of the tech team to facilitate QA’s role in the software development lifecycle

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working with financial trading applications
  • Understanding of the trading lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of multiple financial asset classes.
  • 3-5 years of software testing or development experience.
  • General Windows OS expertise.
  • A high degree of technical competence.
  • An understanding of SDLC concepts.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases.
  • The ability to create and maintain well-documented test plans for future reuse with a broad spectrum of products.

 

Pluses:

  • Experience with foreign exchange asset class is strongly preferred.
  • Scripting or Automated software testing experience.
