The Role: Commercial Applications Analyst

The Location: Islamabad, PK
Role Overview
This Application Analyst position is critical to this very innovative team within the MI Commercial Organization. You will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Organization as a whole, as well as being hands-on in the development process as we seek to further the technical integration of Commercial Applications into our overall MI infrastructure. You will partner with other development teams in the MI organization to deliver requirements, lead and drive continuous process improvements and innovation as well as establish trust across the organization.
The Impact
As an Application Analyst, you will be responsible for building and deploying your applications of focus. You will also be responsible for helping designing solutions to make sure our Commercial Teams get the most out of the applications available to them.
You will utilize your technical competencies and business knowledge to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that meet business user requirements and comply with general IT guidelines and Commercial need. To do this successfully, you will work closely with other teams within MI to understand business needs and map those needs to your focus applications. An ability to understand business process issues and communicate technical solutions to the internal clients is essential to your success in this role. Project management skills and a customer service orientation are key skill sets.
The Team
The Commercial Applications team is part of the Commercial Product and Program Management organization within S&P Global Market Intelligence and is the global coordinator and administrator for all aspects of the portfolio of Commercial Applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop processes and technology solutions within and around Commercial Applications of focus to support various business processes within the MI Commercial Team
Regularly engage and partners at applications of focus to ensure successful execution, realize value faster, and maximize effectiveness.
Construct and sustain process and product documentation, capturing all information necessary to properly execute business processes and all information defining product features, use, and administration.
Manage the userbase and use cases for applications of focus. Create business case for adding additional users when necessary.
Provide or coordinates training for new or advancing users of focus products
Attend events including user conferences, webinars, trainings, etc. to remain current on latest technologies and platform offerings for applications of focus. Regular review of product roadmap with an eye to creating additional business value for our commercial teams
Identify product and process inefficiencies and opportunities and drive innovation through feedback from internal stakeholders, technical peers, and external partners.
Develop and test processes other supplemental tools and technologies, as needed
Job Requirements:
Strong analysis, project management, and reporting capabilities.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
Ability make decisions and work with minimal direction when necessary
Technically capable enough to become an expert on assigned commercial applications within a short timeframe
Familiarity or willingness to learn agile (scrum) development process
Education & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
Experience with administrating Anaplan, WalkMe, SalesLoft, Marketo or other common Commercial Applications a plus.
