MillTechFX is the FinTech affiliate of Millennium Global Investments (www.milltechfx.com), one of the largest specialist currency managers with over $20bn AUM and winner of Currency Manager of the Year 2020 & 2021 (PIPA- FT Award).

 

MillTechFX was established to help Institutional Investors, Fund Managers and Corporate Treasurers to significantly reduce the cost and administrative burden associated with FX execution and hedging.

 

By externalising our own execution infrastructure and combining cutting-edge technology with specialist operational management, we have created the first independent and comparative multi-bank currency solution.

 

The opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be responsible for driving sales and building a portfolio of clients for MillTechFX in EMEA.  You will focus on acquiring institutional clients through multi-channel sales, and by leveraging our digital marketing capabilities.

 

The role would ideally suit an ambitious and motivated high achiever of exceptional talent, with experience in sales and FX risk management and who is keen to join a rapidly growing and global team.

 

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

You will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for generating revenue in EMEA by working closely with the wider business development team to identify, contact, engage with, and close prospective clients within our target market for both transactional FX and hedging purposes.

 

You will have a strategic-level view of our practice and processes, make recommendations for improvement where necessary, and will be encouraged to take initiative, bring new ideas and help grow the London team.

 

Required skills:

  • A proven track record of sales achievement that demonstrates innovation and self-motivation in winning new clients;
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in FX sales, with product knowledge of FX spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs and options;
  • Specific knowledge of the investment community including liquid and alternative asset classes, fund structures, risk management practices and operational practices.
  • Knowledge of the wider FX marketplace and the role played by its different market participants, i.e. custodians, banks, prime brokers etc.;
  • Experience with trading platforms and digitalised execution services are a benefit;
  • Knowledge of trade and transaction workflows are a benefit;
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate both industry and product knowledge;
  • Self-starter and team-player who is capable of building strong networks which lead to successful business growth;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Highest levels of integrity and the ability to act with due skill, care, diligence and confidentiality as required by market conduct standards
