Job Description

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including supporting Recruiting, Benefits, Immigration and Resource Management practices at Centroid Systems. LLC.   This role is dynamic and provides access to many varying areas of Human Resources.  

Employment Type:  Full Time Employee
Location: Hybrid.  Onsite 3-4 times a week in Troy MI



Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Supports Recruiting Function by onboarding and offboarding resources.
  • Manages and provides initial triaging of HR group mailbox to ensure all inquiries are fielded to the appropriate department and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Supports Immigration Process by managing individual cases through to completion. Will work directly with Immigration attorney to ensure record compliance as well as case management.
  • Works directly with Human Resource Director to ensure existing employees are staffed appropriately on projects inclusive of adding and maintaining projects and resource bookings within corporate accounting and resource management systems.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, as well as vendor management. 
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources. 
  • Participate in documentation of existing HR Processes and maintain them within corporate repositories.
  • Performs other duties as assigned relative to human resource functions.  Examples include participation in company acquisitions and HIPPA, SOC2 certifications.
  • Provides administrative support to HR department on an as needed basis as it relates to the role. 
  • Requires being on-site in Troy, MI office 2-3 days per week.  Must be local the Troy area in order to be considered for this role.  
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Human Resource Administration or HR related fields
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite and related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management system.
  • Experience with Paylocity or Oracle OpenAir a plus but not required.
