As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Lead. 

The Talent Acquisition Lead at Lab49 will play a crucial role in driving the recruitment strategy and processes to attract, engage and retain top talent for our organization. Reporting directly to the COO, the Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the offer process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for building strong teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the recruitment team, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. 
  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates, utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. 
  • Establish a robust data-driven recruitment process and scale it across multiple recruitment sites.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and department heads, to understand their talent needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly. 
  • Hands-on recruitment for critical roles.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions and facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and optimize recruitment processes. 
  • Take a key role in building and executing the local branding strategy.
  • Represent Lab49 at industry events, career fairs, and networking functions to promote our employer brand and attract top talent to the organization. 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven 8+ years of experience in a talent acquisition, preferably within the technology or financial services industry. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the local IT market specifics, especially for top-level roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws and regulations. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Ability to independently run day-to-day recruitment operations and plan and execute and deliver on the strategic initiatives.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software tools. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve recruitment challenges and achieve business objectives.
