About the Role:

The Role: Senior Backend Developer.

The Team: The Senior Engineer, Backend Developer will help enhance and maintain KY3P Third Party and Assessor Portal (TPAP) customer web portal and business middleware APIs to enable KY3P to scale and serve our rapidly growing customer base. This role will require working with stakeholders across the company to understand the design intent and expected functionality in KY3P's applications.

Responsibilities:

• Write effective APIs using C#, running on Azure App Services
• Write microservices using Python, running on Azure Function Apps and AWS Lambda
• Work with development teams and product managers to scope and deliver software solutions
• Contribute to the design of client-side and server-side architecture
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Write and maintain technical documentation

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Must be available during US morning business hours (8 am to 12 pm Monday – Friday, Eastern Time). Additional availability is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required and 5+ years of experience working with technology and information resources.
• Must have experiencing developing RESTful web services for Single Page Application web sites using C# .Net 6/8
• Must have experiencing with code-first relational database development using Entity Framework

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Should have experience developing serverless web applications to Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
• Should have experience working with distributed development teams, with both internal and external partners
• Should have experience with modern development tools, such as xUnit, NodeJS, NPM, Git, Mend, Fortify, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps
• Outstanding verbal and written skills, and ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
