The People team is responsible for ensuring team and organisational success through attracting, growing and retaining the best talent for Plaid.

This person will be a Part of the People Experience team supporting  the Europe business  by mainly interfacing with European leadership. 

This role will support the new Head of Europe with establishing a set of key people priorities and will support the Europe leadership team in hiring, developing and retaining the talent to enable the business to accomplish its goals. 

This person will sit on and support  the European Leadership team. As Europe grows, this role will continue to expand.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Plaid Europe leadership in driving business outcomes for the organisation 
  • Drive and champion people programmes with various functional teams
  • Partner with Head of Europe to build People strategies for the Europe team
  • Coach Europe Leaders on management, team development, hiring, and employee issues
  • Maintain feedback loop between the business and various People Centres of Excellence
  • Partner with People and Organisational Development team to design solutions specific to Europe’s needs that aligns with Plaid’s global People initiatives
  • Partner with our People Analytics team to identify data that will inform and influence Europe leadership team as needed
  • Manage the full cycle of recruiting candidates from sourcing through close with direct ownership for the growth of Europe
  • Work with our Europe leadership team and the recruiting team to build process and implement best practices to enable hiring top talent locally in the European market
  • Keep our hiring bar high and be a talent consultant to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Lead and support change management initiatives including organisational restructuring, process improvements and cultural transformation. Provide guidance and tools to leaders to effectively manage change within their teams

 

Qualifications

  • 6-10  years of experience in an HR Generalist/HRBP role
  • Experience in designing & executing people team programs
  • Strong relationship-building, consultative and influencing skills; and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of judgement and discretion, adaptability, strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team with a strong initiative to manage high volume workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid program management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Deep knowledge of the UK talent market
  • Excitement to work at a start-up and to contribute to building and iterating on existing processes
  • [Nice to have] Experience being the HR lead at a start-up
  • [Nice to have] HRBP experience at a larger organisation
