Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

As APAC Analytics and Insight team Intern, you will assist the team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making within the company. This role aims to provide valuable insights through detailed research, data analysis, and process optimization to enhance business performance. The intern will work closely with various departments to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist in the implementation of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties will include:

Competitor Analysis: monitor and conduct analysis in regular basis through reports and dashboards
Team Support: work with various client facing teams to help the team leaders closely monitoring the activity and performance
Strategic Analysis: support the Regional Managers and wider functional team in delivering accurate and high-quality analysis, providing critical insights that support strategic decision making & enable proactive responses to market dynamics.
Data Analysis and Visualization: interpret business requirements and convert them into insightful visualizations and reports

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

Fluent English skills; Mandarin is a plus
Knowledgeable of trading financial markets
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL
Experience with Power BI and Python is a plus

Excellent communication skills and self-driven
Experience or knowledge of online brokerage services (FX, CFD, Stocks, Crypto) or financial market investment would be advantageous.
Ability to work under deadlines, across multiple time zone and to prioritize effectively

Education / Certification Requirements: -

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited university in a relevant program, preferably majoring in Statistics, Math, Data Science, or a computer-related field

Working environment:

Full-time interns preferred (6-8 months).
Part-time interns who can commit to at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply.
Hybrid (2 days in-office per week).
Dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
