The incumbent of this role will be required to translate documents in both official languages (French and English), and they must demonstrate advanced communication skills in both languages. This role requires the candidate to be an efficient and well-organized Translator as part of our Human Resources team with the ability to undertake translation for Broadridge HR communications and policies.
The ideal candidate, you will have a 2-3 years’ experience within the financial industry or a related industry. They will be working within a hybrid schedule as part of Broadridge’s flexible work arrangement.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Provide translation for our corporate HR documents within both official languages.
Works with the Human Resources department to deal with translation of a wide range of corporate materials, in addition to forms and business correspondence as needed.
Confirm materials for our French-speaking associates are delivered with the highest quality in accordance with internal processes, policies, and service levels.
Proofread work performed by other team members when required.
Identify any risks in translation requests and escalate when appropriate.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Translation from a recognized institution - or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English, including editing, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to interact with all levels within an organization and work as part of a team
Excellent organization skills
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
