Are you an experienced senior relationship manager with a proven track record? Do you possess an extensive network in the institutional market/NL Independent Asset Managers (IAM)?

Saxo is seeking a motivated professional to serve our existing partners and identify a primary universe of new potential partners, strategize their engagement through meetings, events and participation within our ecosystem.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving profit targets.

In close cooperation with the managing director Saxo Institutional for the Mid European Region, you will maintain existing relationships and drive the acquisition of new partners, aligning with our teams across offices. As a local leader you will be responsible for exceeding annual sales targets, acting as a leader and role model across sales, representing Saxo’s capabilities through product, platform and solution knowledge. 

This is an established successful business line that needs a confident, skilled, and proactive sales and business development professional to consolidate and elevate our sales success. With 30+ years’ success you would be joining an established financially prosperous business as part of a Nordic investments organization with a history of sustained growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an existing portfolio of partners (Independent Asset Managers) in the Netherlands
  • Prospect and sell to asset managers to secure new business leveraging your existing network
  • Exceed annual sales target
  • Represent Saxo capabilities with a depth of product, platform and solution knowledge
  • Translate up to date market and product developments into innovative sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage price negotiations and ensure optimal collaboration with the internal organization
  • Act as the commercial representative liaising with external parties
  • Ensure and enhance collaboration with the internal organization; proactive engagement of specialists (global sales, asset champs, onboarding, compliance, sales trading)

Your profile:

  • 10+ years of experience in relationship management and business development
  • Hold a university degree and demonstrate experience in senior relationship management  roles.
  • Possess a strong network within the financial sector and NL Independent Asset Managers
  • Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Results-oriented, driven, and able to inspire others
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Familiarity with working with KPIs and experience in onboarding new partners and clients
