Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Trader to join our growing Trading team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate exhibits strong reasoning and mathematical skills along with a passion for the financial markets. What you will do

• Generate and implement new trading strategies taking into consideration potential risks
• Manage trading positions and ensure essential information is captured accurately
• Deal with operational issues in liaison with mid-office
• Explore the international market to identify new opportunities and products
• Contribute, implement and evaluate new ideas to optimize trading process systems and trading-related software
• Actively share knowledge and experience with other traders and colleagues

What you need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in market making and algo/quant trading
• University Degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Technology or related
• Professional experience in options, crypto assets or EM/Asia credit fixed income is a pro
• Innovative & creative personality
• Excellent mental arithmetic and analytical skills
• Keen interest in Quantitative systems and affinity for / experience with development languages (Python, JAVA, or similar)
