The Company

Finalto operates in the space of over-the-counter trading. Our core offering is a proprietary and real time trading platform, ClearVision, based on liquidity from Tier 1 banks in London, New York, and Singapore. ClearVision is used by Brokerages and Institutional clients around the globe.

ClearVision R&D is Finalto’s development hub located in Denmark and Singapore with responsibility for development and application maintenance of the ClearVision platform.

Business is growing and we are looking for a Software Engineer for ClearVision R&D in Copenhagen.

The Team

ClearVision R&D is a dedicated team working on the ClearVision Trading platform providing real time pricing, risk assessment and order execution with sub-millisecond latency. The demands for precision and performance of our solutions are high and we maintain full control of our technology stack.

You will become part of the ITOps team in ClearVision R&D; a team of 8 employees located in Copen-hagen, London, and Singapore responsible for deploying and maintaining the servers, databases, and network infrastructure of the trading platform in an environment dealing with sub-millisecond latency.

The Job

You will be working closely with the three development teams, across Development, Test, Demo and Live environments placed at datacenters in Copenhagen, London, New York, and Singapore where we cross-connect directly with liquidity providers as well as clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.
• Assist in monitoring database performance and health.
• Assist with deployments of changes releases to databases initiated by the dev teams
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration between databases and other systems.
• Spin up sandbox databases for developers.
• Establish deployment practices that fit across different technology stacks (.Net, Java)
• Assist the team with auditory work (Internal audits, annual FCA & /MAS)

Skills & Capabilities

You have 1-3 years of work experience in a Database Administrative role with managing a Microsoft SQL Server (Versions 2016 to 2022) including but not limited to:

• Backup and restore of databases and similar maintenance.
• Availability Groups, Mirroring and Logshipping Technologies
• Managing deployments of scripts and dacpacs
• Assisting Developers in troubleshooting SQL-specific problems
• Optimizing T-SQL
• Familiarity with Disaster Recovery and High Availability
• Git-based repositories (Bitbucket or similar)
• Comfortable working with tools like Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, VS Code and Visual Studio

The Workplace

You will be working in our office at Dampfærgevej, Copenhagen, currently housing 35 employees of ClearVision R&D. We have an excellent lunch arrangement, free soft drinks, and snacks, and have plenty of social events, such as eating out, go to a bar, gaming nights, etc.

The work environment is truly international as we collaborate with our colleagues in UK, Singapore, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cypress, USA, and Australia.

Onsite work is mandatory for a minimum of 40% to secure cooperation and coherence within the team.
