Senior Front-End Software Engineer (C#)

The Company

Finalto operates in the space of over-the-counter trading. Our core offering is a proprietary and real time trading platform, ClearVision, based on liquidity from Tier 1 banks in London, New York, and Singapore. ClearVision is used by Brokerages and Institutional clients around the globe.

ClearVision R&D is Finalto’s development hub located in Denmark and Singapore with responsibility for development and application maintenance of the ClearVision platform.

Business is growing and we are looking for a Software Engineer for ClearVision R&D in Singapore.

The Team

ClearVision R&D is a dedicated team working on the ClearVision Trading platform providing real time pricing, risk assessment and order execution with sub-millisecond latency. The demands for precision and performance of our solutions are high and we maintain full control of our technology stack.

We work agile in a fast-paced industry. Our work environment is characterised by openness, commitment, delegated responsibility, and teamwork.

You will be working closely with other engineering teams responsible for Tradings, Integrations and IT Ops, all within ClearVision R&D. You will also be working closely together with B2B business units in London, Singapore, Australia, and USA. English is the corporate working language.

The Job

You will become part of the Back Office development team working with company trading applications, post trading activities including settlement, positions rolling, reporting (including regulatory), accounting and multiple other services towards internal users and clients.

As a member of the Back Office team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle from idea through specification, design, development, test, and implementation to supporting our solutions as they go live.

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with skills and capabilities to match:

• You have work experience as a Lead Developer
• You have 10+ years of work experience with software development in C#, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• You are an expert in web development frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js
• You are proficient in using modern interface design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• You have knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities
• You have experience with Git, Visual Studio, and MS SQL or similar tools
• You have an architecture and design first approach
• You have a test-driven mindset
• You preferably have work experience of financial trading systems, within the area of Foreign Exchange trading and CFDs

As a person, you possess strong cooperation skills and good communication skills, and you have an analytical mindset. You are a team player who is proactive and takes responsibility, and you are service-minded towards both clients and colleagues.
