As a Senior Product Leader, within the Wealth Product Management COE, you will lead the Canadian Wealth Product team in supporting our strategic roadmap to ensure Broadridge wealth provides next gen digital capabilities to the Canadian marketplace. This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing the Canadian component strategy and product roadmaps in support of our next generation retail wealth platform leveraging best in class capabilities and practices. Within the North American Product Management COE, you will be leading the Canadian team responsible for creating, influencing, aligning, and driving strategic capability strategies and solutions in collaboration with our business, technology and best in class vendor partners. The Product VP role will consider market and competitive analysis, understand industry trends, innovative solutions and technology which will drive the roadmap to ensure we are an industry leader in Wealth (Advisor, Investor, operations, and wealth banking). The Platform will include a componentized approach to meet the needs of Canadian retail banking and wealth firms leveraging Broadridge investments, Canadian best in class components/ capabilities and partner solutions that will enable new revenue opportunities and increase client satisfaction. Collaborating with your internal business, finance, development, technology, and third-party partners will drive the successful launch and continuous evolution of the Canadian wealth platform.
Over the past few years Broadridge has enjoyed revenue growth across products and geographies with a renewed focus on our Wealth Management Solution and we are looking to accelerate this growth and modernize /transform our products procedures and organization.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities
Leading a team of product managers to drive Wealth product roadmaps to drive new revenue, create product evolution strategies and collaborate/align with broader product teams focusing on advisor, investor and operational capabilities.
Understanding the Canadian retail wealth marketplace, innovation industry trends and technology, competitors (traditional & nontraditional), gathering voice of the client / prospects to ensure functional competitiveness and ‘being innovative’ to transform our industry and digital product offerings
Collaborating with clients to gain insight and needs to ensure solutions are next generation focused
Creating, executing, and managing retail wealth capability roadmaps which support the successful industry adaption of our integration capability approach leveraging Broadridge, client and third party best in class solutions. Specific focus on existing and new components, product lifecycle management, integration and innovations will be important to align with business needs
Understanding the Wealth Platform capabilities, our client needs and industry challenges which will driving additional investment priorities to ensure market leadership within our solutions
Creating and driving business case approvals for strategic investments to continue the evolution of the Broadridge Canadian wealth platform
Provide leadership and analysis to ensure product pricing models are flexible, profitable and industry leading to support sales and revenue targets
Collaboration with finance, marketing, development, technology and QA partners to ensure a successful, profitable product line
Expanding our integration partner network to broaden our wealth capability offerings in collaboration with business, technology, QA, solutions, sales and marketing to increase sales and professional service revenue as well as increasing brand awareness
Focusing on delivering superior unified client experiences (e.g., digital UI/UX across the platform) while enabling clients to mitigate data risk
Working with and influencing our business/technology partners and enterprise product management to ensure product alignment and a consistent client service experience.
Building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners in order to achieve financial and strategic goals of the North American Wealth business
Understanding revenue and expense management for your product set in terms of delivering new products and services
Being a thought leadership in the wealth industry – business & technical product management; Documenting collateral content, FAQs, presentation content and white papers
Driving regular reporting to provide transparency into strategy, product roadmap, timelines and financials
Strong and compelling communication including being ambitious, proactive, collaborative, transparent and utilizing new communication media
Provide guidance, leadership, and insight to fellow associates to continue career advancement of team
Basic Skill Level Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Wealth Management industry in a leadership role
Management experience
Specific experience in digital advisor widgets, customer self service capabilities, trading solutions, strategy, finance (business case creation & pricing models) and product management (focused on product lifecycle management);
Innovative approach to next generation wealth management
UI/UX experience to create a unified user experience
Knowledge of financial services, securities processing, wealth management industry is preferred
Strong leadership skills in product management, best-of-breed wealth solutions, technologies and digital best practices
Hands-on experience creating strategy and business cases related to product management
Strong product management experience in data and system integration from a business and technical perspective in support of our wealth strategy
Experience and aptitude presenting strategies and solutions to senior executives, technology partners, and key stakeholders
Skills:
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
Outstanding ability to think creatively and innovatively
Motivated self-starter who can collaborate
Team player with solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
Experience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plus
