Position Overview

Hantec Markets is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and business analysis, coupled with a proven track record in effectively managing development teams and engaging with stakeholders. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our financial trading and products and services.


 

Key Responsibilities: 


1. Product Management:
•Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring products align with company goals and market demand.
•Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
•Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer needs and business objectives.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and QA, to ensure successful product development and timely delivery.


2. Business Analyst Focus:
•Gather and analyse data to generate insights into product performance, user behaviour, and market trends.
•Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations for product enhancements and optimizations.
•Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.


3. Development Team Management:
•Lead and manage the development team, providing clear guidance, setting priorities, and ensuring timely execution of projects.
•Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team, promoting continuous improvement and efficient workflows.
•Ensure the team follows best practices in agile development, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular release cycles.


4. Stakeholder Management:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
•Effectively communicate product plans, updates, and roadmaps to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
•Gather feedback from stakeholders to inform product strategy and roadmap adjustments.


5. Strategy and Leadership:
•Contribute to the product strategy, aligning with company vision and market trends.

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
  • Advanced certifications in data engineering or data management. 
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and data science methodologies. 
  • Knowledge of financial data systems and regulatory requirements. 
  • Experience in implementing FCA data custodian elements and governance policies. 

 

Requirements: 

•Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, with a focus on financial services or trading platforms.
•Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to drive decision-making.
•Previous experience managing development teams and leading cross-functional projects in an agile environment.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
•In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and industry regulations is a plus.
•First rate proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools including Atlassian.
•Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
