Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology division and drive our technological vision and strategy. The CTO will oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions for our internal products and business expansion.

 

Additionally, the CTO will manage all technical aspects and technological resources of the organization to support organizational growth. This role will drive our technology roadmap, ensuring that our tech strategy aligns with our business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy to support business objectives.
  • Align the technology strategy with business goals and drive its execution for technology platforms.
  • Identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services as a technology-driven business.
  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Establish standards of performance and monitor conformance for staff through performance reviews.
  • Identify and incorporate new technologies to enhance products, services, and operations.
  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with the executive team and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the technology strategy aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Manage technology projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information.
  • Establish and monitor performance benchmarks for technology teams and systems.
  • Ensure that technology initiatives meet customer needs and improve user experience.
  • Ensure company technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.

 

Skills / Personal Attributes Required:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading technology teams
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align technology initiatives with business goals
  • Deep knowledge of current technology trends, tools, and methodologies
  • Extensive experience in software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience overseeing large-scale technology projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in technology roles, including software development, systems architecture, IT operations, and project management.
  • Proven track record in technology leadership positions, such as CTO, Head of Software Development or IT Director.
