NOC Analyst in our office in Limassol, Cyprus.

The NOC Analyst is responsible for ensuring network, systems, application operations and trading infrastructure support to the Equiti group systems globally, 24x7.

Responsibilities

• Cloud monitoring Azure, Microsoft, AWS, Alibaba & Office 365.
• Monitoring global infrastructure of Equiti group
• Incident handling, escalation, reporting, tracking issues, troubleshooting problems.
• Writing of documentation on processes and procedures.
• Ensure monitoring solutions are up to date and adequate for support requirements.
• Maximize network, system, application performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting incidents and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with architect.

Skills & Competencies

• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Understanding of Cloud application frameworks
• Experience of network monitoring tools and protocols (MRTG, RRD, Syslog SNMP).
• Solid understanding of DNS.
• Ability to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.
• Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory or similar solution.
• Experience using/deploying NMS applications such as Zabbix,Grafan, Solarwinds, Azure monitoring, or any other similar solution.
• Process orientated with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Cloud based solutions.
• Virtualization experience with any of the below KVM, Vmware or HyperV.
• Networking experience on any vendor is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel, command line and system diagnostics (to junior sysadmin level) is a plus.
• Good technical or WIKI documentation skills.
• Experience within a 24/7 NOC/SRE operation is a plus.
• Excellent communicator, able to effectively describe technical issues to non-technical audiences including other internal teams.

• Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or technical certifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Service Integrators, ISP or Financial services technology background is a plus.
• 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Technical accreditations are a plus.
