Responsibilities 

• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and use advanced analytical methods to enable actionable outcomes 

• Collaborate with various departments to generate and create business performance indicators 

• Leverage Big Data to answer strategic questions posed by the business 

• Manipulate, validate and analyse large complex datasets to accurately identify trends, patterns and insights 

• Design, develop and maintain interactive and meaningful reporting and visualisation tools that deliver actionable insights 

• Create and refine data models in Power BI to enhance effective data processing and streamline the end user experience 

• Perform reconciliations to ensure all data aligns and provides comfort in the analysis’ findings 

• Adhere to data governance and security standards, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations

Experience Requirements       

• Deep understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), M Query language, and Power Query 

• Hands on experience writing complex SQL queries 

• Familiarity with data analysis with Python or R 

• Understanding of analytical best practices 

• Industry experience in Financial Services or FinTech with experience in leveraged trading preferable 

• Educated to degree level (BA/BSc or equivalent), with preference being in a numerate discipline or have compensating experience
