Traffic Manager in our office in Amman

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day workflow of live work going through the marketing department.
  • Working closely with the Project Managers and Senior Marketing Managers to advise on current schedules, resolve resourcing conflicts, find solutions to tight deadlines, and run weekly scheduling meetings.
  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Managers on delivery timelines and helping to mitigate the impact of missed deadlines.
  • Running weekly stand ups with each delivery team to share work schedules and resolve any resourcing conflicts.
  • Owning resourcing and forecasting capacity planning across the marketing department using our internal scheduling system, Jira.
  • Highlighting any pinch points in forecasted resourcing
  • Reporting and checking on Timesheets weekly and chasing up where necessary.
  • Management reporting on department capacity, staff delivery and budgeting.
  •  Owning special projects to develop new processes and support the efficiency of communications and delivery across the marketing department as and when required.

Skills & Competencies

 

  •  Excellent mediation and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Good knowledge of the steps required for delivery of creative digital marketing campaigns.
  •  High Emotional IQ, ability to deliver tough feedback in a constructive manner.
  •  Team player, propensity to make decisions that are for the good of the group - we’re in it together.

Experience Requirements

  •  Experience of working in a fast-paced digital agency/marketing environment, preferably in a delivery or operations role.
  •  Experience using Resourcing software such as Jira is desirable.
