We are seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Manager (Programmatic, Search & Social) to help us rapidly grow and acquire new clients across the world. This is an internationally focused role, managing campaign media strategies for a truly global brand.

You will act as the main point of contact with our global paid media agency to help ensure requirements are being fulfilled, timelines are met, and the continual optimization of channel allocation, global market focus and budget management of campaigns are closely monitored.

You’ll be part creative and part analytical. With the application of data, strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset, you’ll lead the agency through best-in-class global media strategies, underpinned by a foundational operational process to drive the optimal client acquisition experience.

You will lead media strategy while bringing innovative ideas to test, drawing from your previous hands-on media experience.  You’ll own operational paid media functions from business and agency approvals, tracking, and closed loop reporting back to the business

To be successful, you’ll have a proven track record and hands-on experience managing media across multiple channels for an international brand and/or managing multiple brands simultaneously in an agency-led environment. Financial experience is strongly desired. This role is based in Chicago, offers a flexible work from home arrangement and reports to the Vice President of Performance Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the day-to-day management and optimization of our paid media campaigns, including helping develop paid media strategy and operations in partnership with our media AOR
  • Develops and executes test plans and experiments across paid media channels
  • Help establish and implement the global targeting and customer segmentation for paid media campaigns in partnership with our paid media agency
  • Successfully develop a creative campaign structure that optimizes a global approach while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Execute a data-driven approach for informing investment and testing decisions
  • Develop KPI’s and work closely with data science team to enhance reporting and BI lead decision framework
  • Demonstrate passion for digital marketing by proactively finding and building recommendations on new ways to improve performance
  • Provides proactive campaign analysis and performance back to stakeholders, with recommendations on what we should do more of, or eliminate to maximize ROI and meet business goals

Skills & Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge across programmatic, paid social, search and mobile marketing technologies and processes involved
  • Google certified across various platforms
  • Experienced in tag architecture and ad-ops functions to lead strong operational processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • KPI driven and results oriented to drive innovation across media execution
  • Prior career experience in hands-on, in-platform media roles in agency environment OR in-house digital marketing team for a global brand
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
